Niteroí: Personal trip to the museum and Fort Santa Cruz

Visit the neighboring town Rio de Janeiros, located on the other side of the Guanabara Bay.
We will drive over the 13-km-long Rio Niteroí-bridge to Niterói. There you will visit the oldest fort in South America, the fort of Santa Cruz and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC), built by the world famous architect Oscar Niemeyer. On the way back we will cross the Guanabara Bay by ferry and enjoy the view of Rio de Janeiro - possibly in the sunset (5 hrs).

Another option for this trip: a visit of the good Brazilian self-service restaurant "Á Mineira" in Niteroí and a ride to the "Parque da Cidade," the hill of the hang glider ramp, from where you can enjoy the wonderful views over the city and the Guanabara Bay and, depending on the time of the day, as well the sunset, (6 hrs).
